Follow-Up Team: October ‘09 Report

Much has transpired since we last communicated, and already the fourth quarter of the church year is underway. My, how time flies when we’re having fun serving the Lord! The second priority of our Generations campaign is now fully achieved. The Forest Park North Campus launch went very well. We have a wonderful facility at Stone’s Corner where two Saturday evening and two Sunday morning services are being conducted. Already we’ve seen God work in miraculous ways through this new venue. Average total attendance for the four services is approximately 600 people. Many have made decisions for Christ and, to date, five individuals have been baptized. Praise the Lord for His bountiful blessings!

Ahead of us still are the remaining priorities the church established leading up to the Generations campaign. Next up, is the construction of the new worship facility for Forest Park Carthage Campus. Preliminary site work has already been completed. Further construction will continue as soon as sufficient Generations funds become available.

During the campaign we as a church pledged to give $2,305,133 over the next three years. Currently, $881,020, or 38%, has been given toward our Generations priorities.

Your giving to the Generations campaign is making all of this possible. God is continuing to use your faithfulness to further His work locally, as well as around the world, since ten-percent of the funds go to support various mission endeavors. Thank you for letting God lead you to be a part of His wonderful plan. We pray that God’s promise in Luke 6:38 will be accomplished in your lives as you continue to give.
